Luke Mossey joins Smiths (Gloucester) Racing
for the 2011 Fuchs Silkolene Supersport British Championship

Smiths (Gloucester) Racing are delighted to confirm the signing of Luke Mossey to the team, with a two year deal being 2011 and 2012. He will be joining Daniel Cooper and Matthew Whitman in running three Factory Supported Triumph 675cc bikes.  Smiths (Gloucester) Racing is a newly established team that was set up during the 2010 season. They are young, enthusiastic with great ambition, and Luke is going to be a great asset to the team.

Luke is continuing with his loyalty towards Triumph, he rode JT’s Performance Triumph in the 2010 Fuchs Silkolene Supersport British Championship, and is pleased to continue the working relationship he had with JT’s Performance as they are confirmed to be working together again in the Smiths Team in 2011.

Securing some absolutely stunning results throughout the year, Luke proved his worth as a very competitive rider, level headed and very capable of showing that he is phenomenally fast with a long list of lap records earned over the year.  

“I just want to do my training, get fit and focus on my racing. I'm confident I can do that with Smiths Racing, I'm really excited about the whole project to be honest. I’m going to be “On the Pipe” ready for the 2011 season."  Luke said as he is looking forward to the 2011 season. “It can’t come soon enough.”

Smith’s (Gloucester) Limited is a family run business started in 1982 and provides services in construction, waste management and recycling, demolition, transport, skip hire, laser leveling, asbestos removal and plant hire. It has grown from a small, owner-operated construction firm to one of the region’s largest and most respected construction services and waste management companies.

Alan Smith developed his love of bikes and racing in the 1980’s when he competed in local and national amateur motocross events, his highest achievement being several top three positions in the national four stroke and superclass categories.

The Smiths (Gloucester) Racing team continues the family ethos with daughter Rebecca adopting the title of Team Manager.
